Thanks everyone somehow the best variant seems to me this one from rjudnica. I'm interested where I could get the timetable for this free bus to Savica? Otherwise Gregorjeva's variant isn't bad either but I won't go from Vrata ever again, last year it was a real Way of the Cross...

The huts are quite full now, so call the Zasavska koča and reserve accommodation..

Thanks Sandra, I'm also interested if it's too late to start if I arrive in Bohinjska Bistrica on Saturday at 08:55? Thanks

If you ask me, with the forecasted temperatures it's too late, it depends on how fast you are, if you go over Komarča gor and past Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih the sun can really drain you..

Most convenient is start from Trenta via Zadnjica and Dolič, to Triglav summit in 8 hours, shortest and comfortable approach among suggested. Good luck

One option is also to arrive one day earlier in the evening, sleep in the camp, then early morning up. Camping gear maybe leave at reception, if you ask nicely I think no problem.

In Trenta camp the gentleman would allow you that and from camp to Zadnjica it's not far...

I don't know yet if I'll go to the top, I'll see how I feel when I huff to Kredarica . I'm curious what the path from Trenta or Zadnjica to Kredarica is like, is it a calvary like the Tominšek path? How much walking is there from Trenta to Zadnjica? Thanks

Yeah, but you won't go from Zadnjica if you want to go to Kredarica? That's a real loop then... It's closer if you go over Triglav then down to Kredarica... If you're worried about the path, go from Pokljuka, that's the most gradual...

For the start go from Krma, I remember it wasn't so hot then as it will be in coming days. Absolutely no easy path to Triglav like to Grintovec where almost no exposure, to Planika no big cliff issues ahead to Mali Triglav still not much, then ridge to summit where it's exposed but looking ahead at the summit gives you drive. In winter completely different! regards]]>
