But we were up there, tomorrow early still in the dark walk up again, next days up to half meter new snow forecast, so you missed the train in these 3 weeks, surely in another 2 or 3 weeks

Parking in Kurja vas - morning snow hard - sun later does its thing - if on foot count on long, arduous return. First third approach to Mali Triglav snow powdery, crusty, higher better conditions. On ridge snow sometimes over cables - dangerous wind gusts. Tomorrow supposedly similar.

This winter's conditions weren't the best for high mountains visit, but favorable Sunday forecast got me out. Psychologically ready to hike from Kurja vas, in half-light I bravely piled km in Krma. No freeze, snow not too soft, crampons on only below Kalvarija, so straight up without all switchbacks. Hut mostly pasta guys, few Slovenes. Snack and off to Mali Triglav, but saddle already blowing and drifting snow, ascent questionable. Pushed on knowing no wind on ridge and Triglav top, proved true later. Stayed top 20 min to see off three brave skiers dropping void.
Nice trip end spoiled by snow collapsing under left foot descent amid fallen trees, did "split", my emsho couldn't take it without consequences, so slowly limped to car.

That route they skied down is called Veseli Tobogan ... it must really be fun to slide down there
