Keko: I see we met, we were a group of three right behind you. I join the opinion on Plemenice, that part of the path is super, relatively few people, well protected and you go almost to the top in the shade. Down to Mali Triglav is of course a highway.

You should have turned back towards Alojz's bivouac and there go along Kugy's ledge to Kredarica, then you would avoid the crowd.

Yes, at Triglav summit we still didn't know that there were quite a few kids' rope parties towards Kredarica. We found out only on descent. When we overtook one, we already ran into the second and third... Apparently they had some organized family visits to Triglav. Overall there weren't that many people.

Keko, Plemenice also my wish, so tell me straight out, how much harder than Tominškova? Not some ultra “bergsteiger”, condition-wise quite well prepared...

Tominškova was my first route to Triglav and mountains in general. But almost 30 years have passed since then, so memories of that route have somewhat faded. I know that back then it wasn't secured as exemplary as today, since it has been thoroughly renovated since. As much as I still remember, I'd say Plemenice aren't much harder than it. It all depends on the individual, as everyone perceives the difficulty a bit differently. I'll say it like this: if you're fit condition-wise and don't have excessive vertigo, there's nothing to fear. Plemenice have no overly demanding detail. Where needed, there are protections everywhere.

Hi! Interested in your opinion on the weather for this weekend on Triglav? Smart to go (considering snow and we're total amateur hikers)?

@sawd The meteo doesn't look too bad: http://www.ilmeteo.it/meteo-europa/Triglav But snow on the path is serious business. It tempts me a lot too, but I'll hold off another week, two, three. For comfort: September snow practically never lasts until winter, and medium-range forecasts show more positive than negative temperatures.
