On Saturday we set off with two teens from the end of the road on Pokljuka and had to turn back at Jezerca pass, because it was rainy, foggy and windy. Met a larger group of Prekmurci who set off early to conquer the highest peak and in the morning it looked nice, then completely different picture and they turned back too. For me personally mountains also mean nice views and this year it kinda annoys me that weather forecasts don't hold, they've messed up quite often this year. Especially hribi.net portal, which showed clear all Saturday without a cloud, but in reality disaster.

I have to correct you, there were no clouds, but fog,, regarding hribi.net portal and weather hope you don't rely on it, there it's usually opposite-clear weather means fog too.

Yesterday I took a first-timer to Triglav summit, start from Zadnjica-via Komar -Dolič-Triglav-Dolič and back to Zadnjica via mulatiera.
Weather nice-clear up to ca 2400m, then fog persisted, before entering the wall a bit windy, then almost calm all the way to summit. On top we even got clarity for ca 10 seconds.
No special features on the route, just snow still towards Škrbina, so caution going up there, even more coming down.

+ Ilmeteo. Yesterday it showed possible afternoon thunderstorms, showers, no thunderstorms, but some drops when driving from Mojstrana to Jesenice. At the top of Kukova š.-Sleme no rain.

We also checked several forecasts, spaceweb and arso and Ilmeteo too, always check at least 3-5, but wanted to highlight that Hribi.net messed up the most + all others
@Redbull: there was fog, wind and rain, in short really unfriendly

Full moon to Triglav from Krma via Kurica. Clear and warm night required extra light only through beech forest, rest walked by moonlight. Unforgettable experience I had first time last year and hope it becomes regular

When you can see Istria from Triglav all the way to Venice, everyone sighs and praises the view. But that means warm and humid air from the sea is very close and the southwest wind, which already a day before the worsening in Ljubljana or even earlier pulls it over the Julijce, means fog and you can wipe the views under your nose, moss starts growing on your back due to humidity The weather is unpredictable this year, there was neither frost nor sun. If you're fast, you get home dry, no hope for some "Indian summer".

Hi. I'm interested what you think about the Triglav route in the coming week. (15.9 - 19.9.). Checked some weather sites, from Tuesday onwards looks decent weather, now I want your opinion on the tour itself.
