Nice greeting! Yesterday 31.10.2014 my colleague and I visited Triglav and Ablanco again from Pokljuka. Ascent via Kredarica, descent to Planika. The biggest hazard on the path to Triglav is ice , snow just a trace

today up there...from Krma to Kredarica and back..as Uroš wrote, on the way to summit biggest problem is ice. But I brought to valley a hoodie and scarf...chased the owner but didn't catch him....report yourself otherwise magical day, like for a while... lpA

By chance did someone go this weekend past Triglav Lakes up to Triglav? Planning to go next weekend if weather holds somehow. Any really demanding section on the path? Cos as much as I read it's more or less all secured the really harder sections. Must be crazy nice tour now in winter.

Kredarica 45 cm snow for the rest I don't know but you can assume that from 2000m asl onwards whiteness can start.

This morning Krma reminded me of Halloween. It was dark as in a pocket, from fog you could cut it was finely snowing, wet spiderwebs stretched across the path. Grave silence broken only by drops falling from trees. Path to Kredarica without problems, walking on snow only last hundred elevation meters, even there no more than ten cm. But completely different picture when reaching edge to hut, where snow noticeably more. Conditions to summit good today. Since wet snow fell practically to top, stuck well to base so all ridges and passages nicely covered, and from Kredarica to top never step on bare rock. Fixed cables to top of Mt Triglav mostly under snow, higher ones along ridge and summit exposed, but like rocks covered in thick ice layer. If sun shone at summit (tried a bit through fog), would be kitschy. On return from summit snow hardened a bit, so ascent footprints became somewhat softer. Followed best coffee at weather guys and deserved beer. Regards

Regarding the photos, Franci on this forum really has no competition. If we just look at his photo archive sorted by rating... So as not to offend anyone, that's my personal lay opinion.
