The path over Prag is shorter than from Kota in terms of length in meters, but I'm not sure it's also faster... it depends on how strong your legs are.

Krma is even longer. I can't imagine which of these three would be the fastest by time. Over Prag I took 3h15 to Kredarica. Hard to be faster anywhere? Just curious, no hurry otherwise velik nasmeh

@spyderskidoo, if you're really that interested and not in a hurry otherwise, I suggest you go "time" all routes and post them here, then you'll at least know which path is the fastest by time and you'll answer the question for many others velik nasmeh...me too...velik nasmeh

On Saturday I decided for Triglav from Zadnjica right along the mulatiera. If you go early enough, the tour is perfectly fine; otherwise it was a bit windy, blowing on Dolič. Lots of hikers, understandable, because on Saturday afternoon it was windless at the top and the sun was heating too much. Despite the large number of hikers there were no problems on the path.

If it weren't for the full moon and such a nice day, probably yesterday after work I wouldn't have decided to head to Triglav.... only later I heard that at Kredarica they are celebrating the 60th anniversary of continuous meteorological measurements... I decided to go first to Planika and then via Mali to "the Big one"... but when I reached Planika, it all passed... and I remembered that I could go through the notch... the decision was right, I met only one hiker nasmeh
so that no one scolds me, I only have 70 kg :)1

On Friday from Kot via Stanič to Begunjski vrh and to Kredarica. Super evening and sunset with Duracel bunny and her company! On Saturday same group morning hike to Triglav - after sunrise. Then lounging on Kredarica beach and return past Stanič to Kot.

Early hour golden hour, or the morning shows the day. I decided for early ascent to Triglav. Two hours I walked in the forest in the dark with headlamp, moon hid somewhere, I dismissed all thrillers, no one jumped from behind the bush. First hiker I met below Dolič while descending. He told me he got the last bed at Dolič, hikers slept on benches, crowd of course, for penultimate August day.

In the night from Friday to Saturday we climbed via Plamenice to Triglav with the help of the full moon. We had nice-wonderful conditions, clear sky and a bit of wind that pleasantly cooled us. Descended to Kredarica, continued to Staniča and down Za Cmirom back to Vrata. Nice, long and strenuous tour.
-Tomaž- shame we didn't meet and toast,mrk pogled a few hours separated us, your "pics" are super!! Here sending you some "counter"...pyramid the other way towards Dolomites, and if the tower didn't give under your weight....nor under minenasmeh
Enjoy the photos. We two "shot"...teacher and student...guess whose are getting better....?

on saturday to Triglav. From Vrata up via Plemenice, down via prag. Weather super. But very crowded - nice weather, last weekend, 60 years of weathermen at Kredarica, etc.

Great pics, our group also did a night ascent to Triglav - but on Sunday, there are plenty of pics ...
I'd comment on something else. Real crowd, crowd ... that's how it is on weekends. I was ashamed in front of hikers from other countries, what impressions they took from Planika hut. This hut would have been closed long ago elsewhere, won't comment on all the dirt and piggery left by careless hikers too...eek
