Next week Triglav? Weather forecast never 100% accurate, especially not in the mountains. Reliable somewhat max 3 days ahead. So next week all "open", check day or two before then decide.

This year first time to Triglav. Want to go via Komarča through Triglav lakes valley to Triglav back via Komarča or Komna.
Interested which hut best overnight and sleep 1x or 2x since not done such long tour. thanks all tips

@Debra: depends on fitness. Generally, if you're not used to long tours, go 3 days. And be aware that the ZZ route is done tired, which requires additional attention.
1.day Dolič (ascent via Komarča)
2.day 7-lakes
3.day(descent via Komna)

It looks like nice weather, especially on Sunday.
I inquired yesterday about available beds and all are booked at Planika as well as Kredarica, including shared dorms.
Is there anything to be done, given I only have this weekend in August available.

If you're going alone, basically no problem. For one a mattress (emergency bed) is always found. Take sleeping bag! LP

If I were alone it wouldn't be a problem, but since I'm going with my partner who has been preparing for approx. 3 months building fitness, and it would be her first Triglav ascent, sleeping on a bench doesn't appeal to her
One day is still too much for the first time, in my opinion.
I've booked accommodation at Valentin Stanič hut, morning from Krma to Planika and Triglav, descent via Kredarica to Stanič for overnight and Sunday descent.
I hope for nice weather already on Saturday, crowds but expected in August

if in one day you get over Planika to Triglav and then via Kredarica to Stanič, then there's no devil that you can't get back to Krma that same day. Just thinking aloud

What do you think about the Dolič hut, since Kredarica and Planika are already booked?
1.day: Pokljuka-Planika-Triglav-Dolič
2.day: Dolič-Triglav Lakes-Komarča-Bohinj

From Stanič to the valley there's really not much left. But if you plan to overnight, it's worth going to one of the nearby peaks (Rjavina, Cmir,...)

That's exactly the tour my parents took me on the first time I went to Triglav. Very nice tour, first day more strenuous, second day easier but no less beautiful

I completely agree with you. Probably need to go to the summit on Sunday, because Saturday will have bad weather, but going only to Stanič on Saturday is too short...

I also plan to visit Triglav this weekend with my girlfriend (girlfriend also first time to Triglav). However, I'm thinking of starting in Stara Fužina past the Mostnica gorges, over Velo polje (hope I spelled it right) to Vodnik and Planika to Triglav, descent to Dolič where we'd sleep. Second day from Dolič over Hribarice and Prehodavce to the hut at Triglav Lakes and over Štapce and Vogar back towards Stara Fužina. The path is of course longer and on the second day you're already tired, but this path is nicer to me, and you can combine something else because on the second day you have three hours of walking and you're at the car.
I'm not sure yet if I won't rather postpone it for a week because the weather currently isn't favorable, so I'll decide at the last moment, but I wish you a nice and safe path, Vlado

Think if your girlfriend won't hate you because it's her first time. From Bohinj is the biggest height difference to the top!
