If nothing else, at least arrange with Jagr that he drives you to the end of Voje, so you don't walk pointlessly along the road...

Korl is damn right! Voje are beautiful, but not via them to Triglav. We went - first time, last time and never again! There are already many nicer (read easier) approaches. Good luck.

Say from Zadnjica along the mulatiera. In summer it's very crowded. Nothing specially hard to Doliča. And you can return to the same starting point via Prehodavci.

Why not over Voje, I sometimes extend over Uskovnica, or back from Planika to Dolič and where the sign for 7J to the valley and up a bit to Vodnik again, I combine when I'm alone of course. Otherwise now because it's really the first time for the girlfriend probably from Pokljuka (or from Krma or Kota, tomorrow we'll decide exactly), the 7J tour will be more in autumn when everything is in colors.

Dear Slovenians, regarding the visit to our highest peak there is too much polemic. If there is will and desire then all paths are open. Legendary words of our N. Zaplotnik: "Who seeks the goal will remain empty when he reaches it, but who finds the path will always carry the goal...." During the week I fulfilled the wish of a friend who has lived in Australia for more than 30 years. He is not a hiker. On Tuesday we bought the equipment he needed, on Wednesday we tested the new shoes on a nearby hill, on Thursday he was on the top of Slovenia for the first time. He found the path even before coming to visit Slovenia, so he also enjoyed it. Without proving and boasting. For his heart and soul. Next weekend he returns to Australia, but his path is not finished with this. Find your path and follow it, you won't regret it.

@doctor Everyone finds their own path, if you ask beforehand from people who know what they're talking about it's even better. That's smart, not stupid... Otherwise, weekend succeeded perfectly. Was on Triglav, slept at Kredarica. Fog and occasional wind at the top, but otherwise under 2700 meters constant sun. Good luck to all who are still going up this year

Today Triglav well visited. Not as windy as yesterday. Descent to Zadnjca quite hot today. Parking lot full to the last corner.

Krma - Planika - Triglav - Kredarica - Krma At midnight friends wake me and sing the best birthday song, put up a 40 sign and light fireworks. Of course I invite them for snacks and drinks. Chat about various things until 1:30, they go to sleep I take backpack, drink coffee and drive to Krma. First time there. Park (kilometer before ramp, because I thought I was already there), then full gas up. Gas as much as possible on flat path, when rocks too big and path too steep then fast steps. After 2h40min at Planika, then into the wall of Mali Triglav (when I got up thought I was at the top). Spot Aljažev stolp like it's kilometers away and almost give up going further. Pass some American in Allstars and think screw it. If he goes I go. 3h45min and touch Aljažev stolp. 10 min enjoying the view (low cloudiness, so could see far, but only above clouds). Then back via Kredarica (forgot money in car, so just imagined sitting comfortably drinking earned drink). On way down enjoy views and fall three times (once did double somersault - didn't even know I could, hehe). After good six hours back at car. Consumption up: 2 liters water, 3 frutabele and one gel. Consumption on way home: meter pizza, kremšnita, cake, coffee, cedevita and 5 liters water. Aftermath: slightly burning lip due to dry air Feeling insanely good. The first one you never forget. Anyway 40th as it should be

This forum is losing its original purpose. At the beginning technical hiking info was posted - path conditions, protections, snow conditions, bivouacs huts.... Photos were in that sense too, and that info was very useful for hikers. Lately texts that belong more to "chat rooms" are posted here, photos to family albums. Parents should think a bit what happens on the web before posting photos of their kids.

I like the post. On pics besides the boy always some peak, alpine pasture, path, hut. Everything nicely written in text under pic (peak names, pastures, even at Vodnik hut pic can read what's to eat) He sprinkled a bunch of data, and it's not even correct. You don't even bother to see them. That same boy on all pics is totally normal, he went to Triglav. Should he switch on the way so pics more interesting for some. Bravo young gentleman, fingers crossed for queen Škrlatica too

If he was walking ahead to Triglav, then the rope wouldn't have helped much in case of a slip or fall.

I had the same feeling that the young guy was only photographed from the front, otherwise he probably walked like the others, which is correct. As for the photos, maybe it's a bit annoying that he always has to pose for photos. When in a rope team, it's understandable so the leader's attention doesn't drop. But where he wasn't in a rope team, unplanned photos are more interesting. All congratulations for the successful ascent!

rosana Personally I think that someone who has only two posts and even two pictures since joining is not the most qualified to judge the forum. No hard feelings.
