Today after a long time I took my classic to Triglav, otherwise I would have to change my nickname. So from Zadnjica to Luknja, then up towards Plemenice. Midway I caught up with two younger Austrians, they had a harness with self-belay kit, that was all as it later turned out. Of course I overtook them and already towards the "wall" ridge I was wading knee-deep in places, part of the exit chimney was also iced, so I put on crampons below and took the ice axe from my pack, the guys already had obvious trouble here, later they weren't seen on the path and didn't reach the top. I continued over the western Triglav ledges, mostly on snow, then up to Triglav Škrbina, some ice and more snow there, but trodden, footprints from Dolič direction. Above Triglav Škrbina I removed crampons, as mostly bare to the top, only higher where the path swings somewhat to the west side it's more frozen again, but I went along the bare ridge onwards to the summit. Meanwhile I noticed two coming along the ridge from M. Triglav, one soon reached the top too, the other already early on the ridge turned back and descended towards Planika, probably had crampons but it didn't work for him. With Dušan we then chatted a bit in the warm sunshine with impeccable view, then we went each in our own direction. I descended to Dolič and via mulattiera back to the valley. Probably the last such warm days, crampons and ice axe definitely necessary for the ascent to the top.

bošte:
Yesterday (29.10) went with buddy via Tominšek. Snow starts halfway to Kredarica so crampons highly recommended already there though we didn't have. Went early morning in dark. 5.30 Vrata to Kredarica then to Rž to Stanič hut back down via Prag. To Triglav not cos no crampons. cool

Triglav greeting!
Nice description and even nicer pictures. As always, still I'd like to ask you something.
Two young guys boasted that they marked the path through Plamenice (Bambergova) on 29.10.2009. Did you happen to see any new markings?
Thanks in advance for the answer.
Best regards and many more nice hikes.

I think the path is maintained by PD Ptuj and markings last renewed two years ago (there was even a polemic as white turned to faded blue). That day I met/overtook only two Austrians there, returned via Dolič, know nothing of marking. Would be pretty strange to mark now with half the path under snow, no need either.
Thanks for good wishes.

Ah "dj12", I think you're exaggerating a bit with posting pics zmeden pick a few that say something and it'll be fine.

I don't think anyone's exaggerating with pics. Maybe if I was maximally negative and everything went wrong in life and I hit hribi.net then. velik nasmeh

Thank God people post photos that boost positive thinking and urge you to fly to a peak!

How sensitive we are zavijanje z očmi I didn't say I don't like them, just that there are too many. The forum should mainly serve for informing about current conditions in the mountains, that's why the "current conditions" section. What I look at and what not is completely my decision, as well as the forum's option to express my opinion.
And "dj12", don't proofread posts, because I could start with yours; on the forum it's expressed shortly and concisely, the meaning is important jezen no hard feelings cool.

There's always someone who doesn't like something, let him keep it to himself. I think as many pictures as possible should be posted, because then more is visible from the pictures + description.
For ,,gornikm,, a question: Have you posted anything maybe, given some pic of the mountain???

Exactly as "pikec1" says, let "gornikm" also post some pictures from his tours, so that we users of this forum can rate them - because he has so much to say about my pictures and comments.

How many words because of a simple comment on quantity and NOT quality (are you literate??) of posted pics. I just wrote my opinion. It seems a shame to waste words, but anyway; what do three pics of Aljaž Tower say about current conditions, the meaning of a pic of a dog or backpack, and the hut from different angles and finally two completely identical pics of the shepherd's hut in the previous post. And "dj12" until this moment my only comment (my humble opinion) was written in one short sentence, but you mention HOW MUCH I have to say about your posts. Obviously you can't handle criticism that's not to your taste; shame.
Just one more for thought; how would this page look if every forum user posted 30 photos from a one-day tour in the mountains. And best regards to all mountain lovers nasmeh.

gornikm it seems it was really hard for you to turn that wheel on the mouse to get to the latest posts, and you expressed your "humble opinion" on the quantity of pictures. Shame.

You ask about the meaning of pics (backpack, dog, sheep, ice axe, aljaž tower, chamois, hut, tower from more angles, cup of tea, sunset...)?!
The meaning is that such pics are nice to look at, even under the current conditions section.

If you haven't noticed yet most here would like as many pics as possible. Better join us, admit you were wrong and we are right, add some pic, and it'll be finevelik nasmeh

If you don't like some pic just give it fewer stars velik nasmeh.

Hope the admin deletes these last few posts soon.

20.11. I was alone on Triglav and not more..., as Triglavski posted on Kredarica!?
On his 3rd pic I am on Little Triglav.
The two who followed me turned back in the snowfield on Little Triglav, at the key point of the approach, where there are no pegs and no ropes! Same with two from Klagenfurt the day before.
Can't attach pics, look at www.rias/martin/prispevki friends'.
