You did well, I only got to little T. (old ankle injury), so the summit next time, I think the guy on the right overtook me via Tominškova, it was great, company, weather too. Best regards, Lado

Lado, what are the conditions on Tominškova and then to Triglav, especially interested in the entry to the wall from Kredarica and then along the ridge? Thanks and best.

Promising weather forecast contributed to the decision to extend the holiday weekend. To avoid summer heat, especially crowds on paths around Daddy, we started a three-day trip to high mountains on Sunday morning. The path led us from Zadnjica towards Kriški podi, where Pogačnik hut opened its doors two days earlier. After a short stop and arranging sleep, we continued towards Razor and Planja. From Planja saddle to Razor summit, at least three fairly long and steep snowfields need to be crossed, so ice axe use is mandatory, as well as helmet, since Razor is quite "loose" mountain. Quick hop to Planja and back to Kriški podi, where we slept. Via Dovška vrata in the morning we continued to Bovški Gamsovec and down towards Luknja. On the descent on southern slopes of B. Gamsovec we encountered a good dozen ibex, all males, who barely noticed us. Ascent via Plemenice is dry, fixed protections ok. At ZTP we took a longer break while melting snow and cooking Mountain soup (on multi-day trip gas stove is always "mandatory" gear). Over Triglavska škrbina ice axe is certainly welcome, further to summit is dry. Upon arrival at summit (at 18h) a group of about 10 Hungarians kept us company for 15 minutes, then until 19h we were completely alone, which rarely happens on Daddy. Descent to Planika followed, where we slept. Next day return via Dolič (where interior works are in full swing) to Zadnjica and the loop closed. On the whole path several snowfields need crossing, so ice axe mandatory, crampons we didn't take out (given soft snow) from backpacks, but in early morning hours when snow still frozen or possible cooling at certain spots without them it won't do. Extremely beautiful tour, with wonderful weather and views, invigorating the spirit. Best, Marjan and Nataša

I'm interested in the path from Pokljuka to Triglav, via Planika and Mali Triglav.

Mate07: Just today we went from Krma to Planika and on to Triglav. You don't need ice axe and crampons. You cross the snowfield only from Planika and that's 50m. Footprints are made. The hut is open. B.R.

Bravo, alpin! Congratulations to all four! I also watched Uroš's video on OLC, the start quite adrenaline-filled - and the snow on the summit helped you (on the boot). B.R.

Thanks for the congratulations. There's still a lot of snow in the Julians, which is best seen from the air. We landed in Krma near Kovinarska koča at about 930m asl.

Insanely cool How long does the glide to the valley take?

The flight or descent lasted 30 min. But with such altitude it would be possible to fly straight to Bohinj, without help from updrafts. L.P.
