Yesterday with Janez from Vrata via Luknja over Plemenice to Triglav. No snow on Plemenice path, protections OK. Under fortress snow patches allowing faster ascent. To summit under scissors some soft snow, easy to cross. Top clouds racing, nice view for a bit then closed. Ridge to Kredarica dry and passable. Returned via Tominšek path, one gully snow-filled, protections torn, ice axe almost a must. Nice hiking day. Good luck

Statement on protections not accurate, exit gully under Plemenice protections torn, probably renewed this week. During works, section closed for a while.

My mistake, but no problems with that section, it slipped my mind in the path description.

Hi! Is the Plemenice path safe, i.e. are all protections in place? Also, how is the Prag path, where I plan to descend from Triglav? Thanks for your answers. Best regards

Hi On Sunday I was on Triglav, up via Prag, same back. Path OK, just from junction to Stanič hut a few snow patches (nothing dangerous). Lp

Hi! So crampons no longer needed? Which route to Triglav is the most difficult? Lp

Hi! Do you know if the path is dry or passable from Dolič to Triglav summit? Thanks for the answer

It's passable, but you have to find the dry bits among the snow patches.

Hello! My first post, so first hello everyone! Planning one-day trip from Pokljuka to Triglav and back. Read ascent takes 6h 20min. Wonder if 30-year-olds with solid fitness can shave off some minutes. Thanks for the answer!

Hi mc1, with good fitness you can reach the top from Pokljuka in under 5 hours, but not now as the path from Pokljuka is TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to rockfall. I recommend ascent from Vrata, Kot or Krma.

Hello! Planning to Triglav via Luknja, Plemenice, Škrbina, back via Tominšek route. Maybe opposite direction better? Thanks for answer!

Ascent via Plemenice is pleasant, except some torn cables - no obstacle. Return I recommend German route - ice axe!, or nice via Stanič hut valley behind Cmir - peace and wilderness! LP-Rok.

Warning: German route means old term for the path over Prag, which was laid out once by Germans. LP-Rok.

Hello everyone, I'm interested if someone can tell me what the conditions are like for Triglav via the path over Prag? I've planned to go tomorrow, wondering if it's possible to get there via the mentioned path without winter gear? (If not, can someone suggest a more suitable or dry path...) Thanks in advance for the answer, LPP

From the memory of the predecessor who descended via the path over Prag, he mentioned a short snowfield on the last step before leveling to the bottom, which didn't pose a major obstacle. For the less experienced, I recommend an ice axe; otherwise, many approaches: Kot, Krma, Turkova pl. - valley behind Cmirom. Not much snow left - caution on steep sections is not superfluous! LP-Rok

Today we went to Dolič via Komar and further to Triglav. Protections over Komar are OK, just two pitons pulled out. On the path to Dolič there are a few snow patches (on the mulattiera), but no problems crossing. Towards Triglav the path is almost dry, there are a few patches but they can be avoided. On Triglav CROWD, it got a bit jammed due to fears of some quasi-mountaineers and mountaineerettes.... Just what all you see in the mountains... oh sneakers, jeans .... ehhhhh horror Fantastic day!

Why not go in jeans?! There are stretch variants.
