To Triglav?

Hello, Uroš. Does female company count too? Say, I have enough fitness, I've been to Triglav twice already and last Saturday I waited for the sunrise on Mali Mojstrovki (well almost at the top - I lost some time looking for the entrance to Hanzova). But it was unique anyway and I'd like to repeat it.

Yes, of course female company is fine, just need good will, enough fitness and be aware it's a night ascent, no fear of dark and good headlamp.

Ascent from Krma valley, as it's in my opinion the easiest and fastest route.
On descent we could also check out Rž peak and its cave, which is well visible on ascent before Kredarica.

Start at 10.00h Friday - today, so 6h to summit, which should be enough, or start an hour earlier.

Worth the effort for nice sunrise.
Whoever wants to join contact me on mobile 070 841 816.

Today we visited Triglav with buddies. From Krma via Planika to the top and then descended to Kredarica. Weather super without a cloud, only wind on the ridge was very strong in gusts.
Video follows.

Thanks Zvončnica.!
I considered it a special honor that I did this ascent with colleagues among them Vido who has been on Triglav over 300 times both summer and winter.nasmehnasmeh
I'll keep trying and posting videos although I assemble them longer than the whole Triglav trip lasted.
Best regards.

We too visited Triglav on Saturday with kids for the third time. For the first time we had such nice weather and views. Always fog on top, this year nice pleasant weather with nice views around. Started from Krma to Kredarica then to top and back to Planika and back to Krma. Walked 15 hours slowly so kids not tired maybe me and husband more than kids. Uploaded some pics too but since we don't know peaks on pics I'd ask good Julian Alps experts to tell me at least a bit which peaks on 7,8,11,12 and 15 pic. Very grateful if tell us a bit. best regards

On Friday my colleague and I went to Triglav and on the way from Zadnjice valley to Dolič hut met two chamois. The young one was especially cute...

Dear hikers, please for information if it's better to go via Vodnikov dom to Planika or via Krma. In the group we have hikers of various ages and fitness and I want to adapt to the weakest in the group.
Thanks for the help.

The path from Krma is the shortest and steep.
From Pokljuka it's more scenic and somewhat longer. Both are strenuous especially due to the sun. Here the rule especially applies: Early hour, golden hour.

Doripiki!
The path from Krma is the only one without pegs, chains and such stuff. In short, it's also the easiest. Moreover, it has no intermediate descents like the path from Pokljuka.
Of course every path has its advocates and critics.

Hello,
this weekend we plan to conquer Triglav for the first time and the weather worries me a bit ... will those of you with similar plans set out on the path on Saturday?

Thanks for any tip and nice hiking regards,
Vanja
