We did the ascent via Tominškova on 21.7 in very early morning - forenoon hours and then on to Triglav after a break at Kredarica. We had a lot of luck - wonderful weather, also the next day on descent (overnight at Kredarica, late afternoon and night then sleet, freezing rain...).
Strong recommendation: without helmet and climbing gloves (it was cold and it will be cold, highly recommended also for climbing Mali Triglav and onwards) do not enter this path.
Additional tip: if afraid of heights, then not this path, better via Prag or via Pokljuka etc.

I'll probably head out Monday early morning. Maybe someone knows conditions over Pokluka or over Rudno polje. Thanks!

We start towards midweek 10th, but start at sea, via Kras, Matajur, Krn and all that comes on road.
Really all that crawls heads to Triglav. I've been few times this year, just to check and study terrain for next ascent. velik nasmeh
But have to say more nonsense written here.. mrk pogled

I think too that nobody, really nobody cares when and where who will go. Just go, have fun, and safe back to valley. This is usual bragging, since if going to Everest I'd understand, but for Triglav zavijanje z očmi

Curious about conditions on Triglav? Would start from Vrata.

Yesterday with Mateja from Zadnjica for some time on the mulatiera, then along the old Kugy path to Plemenice and over ZTP to the summit. On ZTP still some snow, but not problematic. Descent to Kredarica and some obligations, then over Triglav glacier (nicely snow-covered along its full length) along the Kugy ledge back to BZTP, and to Dolič for overnight. Morning descent towards Trenta then up to Luknja, and to B. Gamsovec, where we turned onto unmarked paths under Pihavec and climbed to the summit. We descended along the marked path to Kriške pode and into the valley. Two nice mountaineering days, weather held nicely both days and it was nice to hike.
on ZTP there is old and new snow1

I'm curious, did you take it to Pihavec "at Mihelič", or is there some other passage there.

@strelec1954, regarding Pihavec we chose an optimal nice passage, which is more in the right part of Pihavec (steep grassy gully).

Yesterday, 2 August, I did a hike to Triglav, start of the tour in Krma valley at 5.30, at 9 already at Kredarica (of course huge stamina)velik nasmeh weather gorgeous without a cloud, views beautiful, people huge, real crowd and waiting during ascent and encounters on exposed parts. The path to the summit isn't so demanding if you're used to it... at the top there was almost too little space for all, really the clouds that grew fast covered views to other peaks... I liked it very much (excellent birthday gift) maybe next time some other route up... or some other peak, nice in the Juliansnasmeh

Hello. Since I've already set off to Triglav three times from Rudno polje (Pokljuka) and since I want to reach the summit again next week, I'm wondering if someone can suggest another route that's similarly demanding (can also be two - ascent descent - two cars, but we don't want to drive too much distance). P.S. the trip will cover just one day. Thanks in advance for the answer. A nice mountaineering greeting.

Hehe, we were also there on 2. 8. on Triglavnasmeh)
Up we went via Plemenice, next day down via Tominšek's. I don't recommend that route exactly for descent.

For weather look herenasmeh
