To Triglav?

Stefano, with your plan there are two problems...
1) I doubt they have free beds at Kredarica for from Saturday to Sunday, if they do...
2) ... probably because the weather will be worse and people are cancelling. Weather forecast for the mountain world tomorrow from ARSO:

Tomorrow moderate, in the afternoon mostly cloudy with foggy peaks in many places, possible isolated showers or thunderstorms. Southwest wind will strengthen. Temperature at 1500 m around 15, at 2500 m around 9 degrees C.

This means expect the summit in cloud, windy and maybe raining, maybe even thundering. Weather that is not very dangerous but at the same time quite annoying.

Can someone please tell me if we need to bring crampons? I read namely that there's still snow at Kredarica and higher. I don't know exactly which route we'll take up but still I'm interested if someone can advise about crampons.

I doubt you need them but you will need them on Tuesday when Triglav turns white again.

Ok, super. Thanks for the reply.

No need for crampons or ice axe. Snow is only left on Triglavski Podi (if going via Prag or Tominškova) and on Western Triglav Plateau (via Plemenice). There it's gentle. Elsewhere it's dry.

5Xum, thank you for the answer, very kind.
I have looked here at the conditions

which for Saturday are not bad.
Got a place to sleep at Kredarica... so I'll try....

From what time in the morning do they start collecting parking fee in Vrata, should be 3.5 euros.

I think from 5 to 17! If it's hard for you to give 3.5 euros, go on foot from Mojstrana, as we walked years ago when we didn't have cars yet. The path along the stream is wonderful!

29.07. - 31.07. Varaždin - Vrata - Aljažev dom - via Plemenice - Triglav - via Prag down.
We were on Triglav 30.07.
Up via Plemenice, down via Prag. Went for 3 days from Friday to Sunday. Friday slept in Aljažev dom, Saturday via Plemenice, wanted down same day but around 15h rain started, slept at Kredarica. Some people went up around 15h as we descended and returned from top after rain with child after 4h!! wet, child shaking from fear and cold rain, luck nothing happened.
But us on Sunday returning via Prag, near end stone broke off fell 20m lower, smashed on rock fragment injured part of the face of our mountaineer.
So all careful steps and Good luck!!!

Why do you carry some workers' yellow helmets in mountains? That's for builders or in forestry together with Husqvarna-Stihl chainsaws.zmeden

Well, the Mammut label expires, I have one in the closet too but if no styrofoam inside, then with heavy stone from wall you're done, cold! Otherwise better something than nothing.mežikanjevelik nasmeh

If doing one-day trip, must consider need to descend from Dolič to mulatiera leading from Zadnjica to Luknja and climb back cca. 300m to Luknja!!! In my view descent via Prag still better choice, especially if ascend via Plemenice to top and down via Prag. Good luck

On 116th anniversary of Aljaž tower erection it was fitting to approach the summit. Started in Zadnjica, then to Luknja and via Plemenice to Vrh. Some fog, wind and higher wet rocks, otherwise great ascent, no typical summer heat anywherezavijanje z očmi. Met no one to the summit, two small groups up there. Descended to Planika and chatted a bit in kitchen with friendly hutkeeper (such lousy season probably never before up there), then feet on path towards Dolič. Fog so thick there I didn't see hutmežikanje, went past and below turned to Kanjavčev police as didn't want to valley yet. Path no issues. In under hour chatting with friendly young hut team, stayed till light rain started, then quick down to Zadnjica. One of most solitary summer tours in these parts in recent years.
over Korit to Luknja it didn't look that bad1
