Hi.. In one week I'm planning to go to Triglav from the KOT direction. What is this path like, is it interesting, since I notice no one goes this way.

It's true what Juš says, otherwise just flip back through the pages and you'll find that description too.

On Saturday night I'm planning to go from Krma to Triglav. Was anyone there recently and can tell if there are still snow patches on the path?

We were there last Saturday. From Krma to Kredarica, from there to Triglav back towards Planika and down back to Krma. We hiked this route in one day and there's no snow anywhere, just safe and pleasant day. LP

Hi, we planned to go to Triglav today, but we postponed it to tomorrow, because it looks like the weather will be. We'll see in the morning. LP

Visa86, the only snow field on the route is from Planika to Mali Triglav, which can be bypassed. Another snow field a bit trickier for descent is before the hut at Kredarica, when descending from Triglav climbing route.

Yesterday I started only at half past ten from Kot. Very late hour and divine punishment because at five when the radio was roaring I fell asleep again... For return I had to go to Krma first to pick up the bike. On the way from Kot saw three young chamois. At Stanič I checked the time. Took me 2h50. Not bad. Snack, then quickly on. To Kredarica in 45 min. There rain and wind already awaited me so I gave up the ascent to Triglav and went to Planika via shorter path under the rockface. Triglav was still all in fog, it descended to Planika too and wind started blowing it was already late too. So from Planika I rather went straight down to Krma and to the bike. Got there around 18:40. Good eight hours with breaks not bad at all... Normally I don't rush in mountains but this time just because of time pressure... In Krma to bike and back to Kot to car then still on that nasty narrow road back home.

we met you when returning from Kot on gravel. one lady then noted she saw you on Staničeva and we wondered a bit why the heck you'd go back to mountains. well since another car was parked at start we thought you came back another way and rented bike somewhere. we guessed, except renting. lp

According to current forecast weekend will be rainy, so I think it won't go

I think weekend up there will be more snowy, given that it's snowing already today

Up there it's always the most beautiful, be it summer, autumn, winter or spring and sun or snow

End of the week really won't be suitable for Triglav. We don't want new victims and new rescues

That's true, you always need to go to the mountains with sense, even if their immense beauty attracts us so much.

Did anyone go to Triglav over the weekend because I saw on the webcam that some were up there. I'm interested in how it was because I also wanted to go but the weather convinced me
