Yesterday was a perfect day for vacation. With Matjaž, as soon as it got light, we first climbed Triglav via Tominšek route, quite crowded there, probably due to mass at Kredarica too. Followed descent to Dolič and on over Kanjavec ledges, still a snowfield at entrance, to Vodnikov Vršac. Then past Prehodavci and seven lakes via Komarča to Zlatorog. There bus to Bled and to Vrata for car. Weather super, bit too hot, but clouds came now and then.

Why didn't you two measure it, it seems very fast to me, and not from the rushing through hills perspective, because I see you took time for photos and enjoying, but this is basically a 2 day tour.

Nothing new from Triglav since yesterday of course, except faces. The nicest day of the week was already reserved in advance for Dad and my 15th ascent to it. Special because I went alone for the first time. From Vrata to Luknja, over Plemenice to the top, then to Kredarica and over Prag. Approaches to the summit (except via Plemenice of course) were like the action let's hold hands around Triglav was happening, and there had to be quite some heroes in between, since I haven't seen our champion ever so scared shitless . Shits. Tons of foreigners, all kinds of styles, anyway an ordeal for nerve strengthening. It was already included in the route, so it didn't bother too much. And when you return to the valley, just before dehydration and right before heatstroke, with smells of a sweaty day, when only mom would kiss you (and even she only if necessary) and you plunge into cold Bistica and look back at the mountain... you'd just cry from joy and fullness of all impressions. Before you're even in the car, you'd go back already. We are really weird....
Maybe part of the answer is in this thought:

Lidija, at least two weeks no real rain that would "pull the water". Indeed right at some bend one set a mine exactly in the middle of the path from Doliška side towards the top - so precisely that even Czechs got upset - so horrible.
What the hero was thinking looking at his product, if returning the same way, I can only imagine.

I'm proud that last year I reached the summit at least 1x, there are countless other peaks that are interesting, solitary (say on Križ I was alone on Sunday, peace, silence).

Triglav was besieged again today, but I avoided the crowds myself and started from Krma to Kredarica at 00.30 in beautiful moonlight. But lo and behold even at this hour I meet mountaineers, two guys and a girl descending to the valley. Sunrise catches me on Mali Triglav. In windless weather I enjoy the summit and quickly descend to Planika due to approaching crowd, where I witnessed near accident of hikers due to rock slide triggered by sheep. They can thank only luck and their alertness (running) that they weren't hit.
Then back to valley and at 13.00 I have carp on table already and they don't resemble fish at all.
