Description:
Erdiges Egg is 2581 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.4 km west-northwest of peak Medelzkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kalser Tauernhaus, located 5km south. Closer is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte, which is located 4km to the west-northwest. North-northeast of the peak there is lake Medelzlacke. 2 km west from the summit there is glacier Granatspitzkees, 3 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Vorderes Kastenkees.
