Description:
Schattseitköpfl is 3172 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.9 km east of peak Hohe Riffl. The nearest mountain hut is Heinrich Schwaiger Haus, located 6km northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak, which is located 4km to the east-northeast. 8 km southeast of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 0.7 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Karlingerkees, 2 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Westliches Bärenkopfkees. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
