Führerscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3101 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.6 km east-southeast of peak Schattseitköpfl. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzenberghütte, located 5km east-northeast. Closer is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak, which is located 3km to the east-northeast. 7 km southeast of the saddle there is lake Sandersee. 1.2 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Karlingerkees, 1.9 km northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Westliches Bärenkopfkees. East of the saddle is the valley Käfertal.
