We were there last Saturday (10.02.) from the parking lot to the hut at Zelenica and up under the gullies right of the central one. There was a lot of snow and we were sinking up to our waists. Finally, we went up the Direct Gully via the variant, but after reaching the ridge we descended back to the central one and down to the hut. No one was going up then. There were a few ski touring tracks, but they all reached the flat area at the entrance to the Y gully and turned back down. This weekend might be better - good luck

Today Begunjščica was well visited, mostly ski tourers, hikers just a few. Up via central and packed well to gully entrance. In the gully no ice just dry unprocessed snow, track made by ski tourers. Returned via Šentanec. On summit quite windy.

Conditions to summit via Šentanski plaz well described by predecessor. Yesterday lots of visitors at Ljubelj, but few hikers, especially on ascent to Begunjščica summit met no one. Path on ski slope easy as packed, over plaz partly sinking to knees, mostly shoe height.
Anyway, summit perfect, worth every 'heavy' step.

Friend said well, Zelenica is mountaineer's BTC city. You get everything needed in winter, from gentle sledding to steep gullies I can't even name and most won't ski.
Central gully from about 1800 up in fog, but so nicely smooth that poor visibility not big obstacle.
Snow below Zelenica already very wet and nasty, except ratrak path. Between Zelenica and clouds pure poetry for me.

michael66 morning conditions excellent as snow hard and no sinking, later during day lower part of central very chopped up.
On Saturday (07.04.2018.) friend and I climbed Zeleniška route. Conditions excellent, all jumps nicely iced and pleasure to climb. As time went on the route threw bits of ice and small stones at us bit by bit but nothing serious. Main jump (IV+) full of ice so pleasure to climb it. When we got out on NW ridge descended to Smokuški avalanche path and saw line in Begunjščica rock leading to the summit. Reached summit around 10:30 and already sinking a lot in snow on south slopes so hurried down central gully. Although avalanche danger 3 and not all avalanches down yet now conditions for gullies ideal.

It's dangerous to climb in the right gully according to Miha Zupan's guide to the NW ridge of Begunjščica... Above the jump there is a stone approx 200-300 kg that moves and doesn't stand firmly on the rock, it can fall on the climber at any moment.
