Today several of us skied down Central, met two hikers too. Ascent done on same route. Tracks visible from summit towards Šentanc too.

Conditions for ascent good. Lower part sinks for walkers, from gully entry onwards it's fairly hard and "trodden".

Tonight I skied Begunjščica via Šentanski plaz. Conditions good.

Sometimes you have to go somewhere with your local PDnasmeh
Yesterday I seized the opportunity, as I really shouldn't miss the ascent via the Central Gully and the return via Šentan. I added it to the plan while reading this year's excursion plan and put a red exclamation mark next to it so I wouldn't miss it by chancenasmeh.
And yesterday everything clicked: good conditions, fantastic weather, wonderful views and good companynasmeh
And the beautiful ridge traverse from one gully to the other wasn't negligible either; moreover, it couldn't be done without looking back, as one glance at all the snowy beauty just wasn't enough.

Conditions today almost ideal, also for us walkers (as 90% were ski tourers). Despite Monday, quite a few enjoyed the winter tour to Begunjščica. In short, conditions are really super for now; today to the summit via the central gully, back via Šentan. Up top cloudless and windless, and super company, we got chatting mežikanje in such conditions it's hard to go down nasmeh

From Draga through Luknja I hear rumbling around the signpost - building a wide muddy forest track on the hiking path to Prevala. The thing stops some 200 m ahead of the protected Thick Spruce. Below Prevala a bit of ice on the trail but mostly dry. In Kalvarija through the forest typical sinking to the ankles, sometimes over. Old tracks serve well. Snow already settled but I follow the upper last gully through the bushes. I turn back when I see no path ahead (so darkness doesn't catch me too early) at the Memorial Plaque around 1800 m. I also went today following predecessors' tracks to see that beautiful panorama from the topnasmeh.
So via Central Gully to the summit and back over Šentanski Plaz. A bit above Vrtača hut I already met the first one returning from the top; seems he went for sunrise. On the ascent to the top it was all empty, on the top I alone enjoyed half an hour in the sun and great views, then it got livelierjezik.
