Today in it. Top conditions from bottom to top. Descent via Central next to the ascending group.

Today my first ascent to Begunjščica via Central Gully, descent via Šentanc. Conditions are ideal, pure winter to the ridge.

Since no one has posted conditions for a while, I'll do it 
From Ljubelj to somewhere around Vrtača hut, doable without crampons, I went via transport path and it was pure ice so I put them on quickly. Then to Zelenica for chat and coffee and up the central to the top. Snow hard, no wallowing. Windy in the gully sometimes but nothing serious. I was alone on top almost 20 min No wind on top itself, but on descent along ridge to Šentanc some very windy spots, especially at the entry to Šentanc, there it was blowing 100 km/h or whatever...
Anyway, conditions still super for now.

Is the summit part of Šentanc still skiable or already windblown?

Although I'm not a ski tourer I think it's still skiable. Everything is still covered with snow at the entrance to Šentanc and also lower. Snow mixes with rocks only in the lower part of Šentanc (around Zelenica height). I uploaded a video of descent through Šentanc to one site. You can (I hope) download it here VIDEO

Yesterday from Draga. To Poljska by bike on road. Except some snow patches towards end ok. Under Roblek (from half Poljska - Roblek hut) solid ice so without crampons not recommended. From Roblek on old track before last traverses through scree to Srednji Vrh. Further without gear no point risking. Snow compact but not concrete. Occasionally breaks through.

Today on Begunjščica from Draga via Poljska and past Roblek. Above 1800 m still snow, especially below summit where snow cover is firm. Crampons and axe not needed due to soft snow, but good boots and careful steps recommended (crosses quite a few snowfields).

Hey, any fresh info? It's raining a bit now, up there probably snowing. Would go tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to check snow a bit ...from Dom v Dragi up over pass, down via Roblek. Thanks!!

Yesterday 14.5. on Roblek from Draga. Wind knocked down some trees. Under Planinca, also across the road. Snow from the last firewood sign seriously gaining thickness. No tracks further for a while. I suspect a windloaded ridge and now dangerous steep grass...

Today Begunjščica really nicely surprised me! When I drove towards Ljubelj in the morning, it didn't look like it, as the sky was closing literally before my eyes and I was quite scolding myself for the "bad choice" of target. But I didn't want to change plans and so at the parking lot I put on my shoes and hoisted the backpack on my shoulders and headed up into the fog.
But soon Tadej brightened my day, who was already returning from Zelenica and told me there's some sun up top too. At the "turnoff" for Šentanski plaz the sun really appeared and accompanied me all the way to the summit. On the central slide there are quite a few smaller slides, but nothing special. Lots of snow and it's completely soft, so the ascent was quite strenuous. Even trying to walk on the slid parts wasn't much better. The sun was burning like crazy and when I reached Central gully, I was thoroughly wrung out, and the falling rocks in the gully didn't boost my morale either. I ducked left into the shelter of rocks, equipped myself with helmet, crampons and ice axe, took a sip, waited for the rockfall to calm a bit and continued up. Well, I was rewarded for my persistence - conditions in the gully are simply excellent! Everything nicely filled in, snow firm and hard all the way to the top and progress with great views became pure pleasure! Due to excellent conditions I didn't go diagonally to the summit but chose shorter gully and exited straight to the ridge, then strolled to Begunjščica summit, which was among the elect above the foggy sea. Short stop at top enjoying the nice day, then descent via Šentanski plaz. Upper part is bare, lower still enough snow, somewhat compacted by slides in places but just soft enough for pleasant descent.
