@jax: is it his summit? You stand there and sell, otherwise a few dozen meters lower (because I really heard that the summit is in some ownership of the mountaineering association or something?) If it still doesn't work, report him to the tax office because he doesn't issue receipts.

Yeah, I believe you, plavžar... what I've noticed in huts is that prices are really quite high everywhere, differences only in quality and quantity... That somewhere for the same money you really get full and it's tasty, elsewhere not.

I notice it's becoming quite a ritual to drink a beer in the hut regardless of price. I drink it only if the price is reasonable. If the margin is 700-800%, it's not worth it even if carried up on foot. In that case I don't order it so someone doesn't wave their hand too much afterwards. Prices should be aligned between huts based on delivery method, generally lower.

Only Dolga njiva exists, nowhere have I seen lower and upper, and people only talk Dolga njiva. Probably you just meant lower and upper part of the pasture... For me it was important just to locate the thing... Not the only Dolga njiva, that's known. Point of all was the price, and that there's no price list, if I remember right. And that's the only thing not ok here.

No, don't argue now about these Njiv. Important, that we know where it is. It's just planšarija on Dolga Njiva under Košuta (hope I wrote right  ).
As for prices, it's quite possible they charged both differently. One demanded price list and/or receipt, one didn't. Or second waiter less fraudulent. Or one of two guests looked naive already by face and/or behavior/speech who will bite, other gave more decisive impression...etc...etc. Many reasons.
