Took microspikes up there, those that attach to any shoes. They make walking easier, but in my opinion not necessarily needed

The path to Kamnik Saddle is trodden except for the few cm that fell these days. From Kamrica it's icy so crampons are needed, otherwise nothing special. Safe steps, good luck.

Today at Kamnik Saddle: foggy in the morning, later it cleared up and the sun peeked out; almost no wind.
Excellent hiking conditions. Almost dry to Pastircev, then onwards with crampons. Snow hard and excellent for walking.
Hut was open, and here sincere thanks and praise to the hut keepers for all their friendliness. I can only say: "Hats off".

Most of the afternoon was cloudy and quite windy. Hiking fully possible and safe even without crampons.
