Dear friend Gorolazka. You're an excellent reporter. You make news out of nothing. Your latest bombastic hit "Lino drinking again" is Fake News. When did I stop? We always drink a crate of beer in the mountains, a liter of wine, sing some, yell some, some po... (that's no longer for tender ears). It's a wonderful remedy against various mental and psychic traumas and choleric outbursts that some create at home in the valley. Path from Okrešelj to wall entry crosses three small snowfields. With responsible steps, crossing is without issues. Ice axe and caution are not superfluous. Path in wall is dry. On path to Brana, one snowfield on traverse over scree, further dry and normally passable. Served in hut, officially opens in a week if I got it right. Good luck!

Next week Komunalno podjetje Kamnik will also arrange the roads to Konec and to Jermanca
I'm lobbying a bit with a colleague for long-term fixing of critical spots.

Yeah really, when will we lay asphalt and arrange parking at Jermanci and in Konec, and above Mače, like it's solved in Austria and Germany, even with automatic barriers and paid parking? Will anything come of it? Does the state have no ear for it? Corrupt government citizens then who don't ease access to the Mountains for citizens. So it is.

A modest wish is that the road be decently arranged at least to the fork at V klinu. The road for cars to the Pastirci bivouac also falls under the wish plans. Some wouldn't refuse even parking before the hut at Kamnik Saddle.

On the contrary. Just those who only go to the saddle won't have any problems doing an extra hour each way. But if you do say a traverse from Brana to Grintovec, those two hours will really make themselves felt.
And one more thing - no, in alpine countries it's NOT the rule to leave cars at 600 meters above sea level. No, no matter how fervently some claim the opposite.

Just the one doing a traverse or some longer tour has no problem extending by those 20 min, since he's usually in shape...the others though... ....haven't seen any e.g. mountain runner drive to the cable car or Jermanca yet....usually they seek longer paths...the ramp in KB will be peaceful

Bah. I always say one thing: those claiming you have to park the car as far from hills as possible are usually those who don't like real mountains at all. And as said, closing the road to the mountain trailhead at 600m asl is ridiculous.

And what should "real mountains" be like?
Anyway I'm not for closing valleys, but for arranging anti-dust roads, but those training to Kamnik Saddle or just for beer and stew really don't need to drive to Jermanca. The path below Jermanca through the forest is really nice and very similar to "real mountains", whatever they are.
