Has anyone been to Stol recently? Or does anyone have info on conditions?

From the valley Stol looks half bare already. Based on temps, remaining snow is mostly south-facing. Only Veliki Stol might be icy. So keep crampons in backpack just in case.

Last weekend I was up there. To the end of the scree without crampons was OK. Summit frozen. Descended the gully, good steps under crampons.
Temps last weekend were lower than expected this time.
Agree with Bojan A on gear.

Today on Stol we were wondering which season it is jezik

Winter gear stayed at home and in the backpack, except gaiters nasmeh

path partly bare, some snow, some mud...

an Italian woman accompanied us on the path :)

From Valvasorja, the road is normally drivable, even better than in summer.

hi.. just wondering how's the road to Valvazor hut, I assume no more snow on the road? or am I wrong?

Road to Valvazor hut is normally drivable - no snow.

The snow is frozen and doesn't sink in; there is 5 cm of new snow on it, which prevents seeing where the ice is on the path, so crampons are recommended for safety.
