If you're talking about cheating, attach the bill, so there is no bad mood.

Today went from the Austrian side via ferrata to Stol. Nicely secured, not too hard and no snow. From the top we did a loop to Celovška hut. When the path from the ridge turns to the scree there's still snow, but it is well trodden. Winter gear stayed in the backpack. a pleasure regards a and j

Today I was on Stol, attaching bill for tea I got. I suggest next time really check what is charged or don't write untruths.

In France Vanoise park at Ref. du Vallonbrun 2230m keeper prepared whole teapot 0.5 l tea for 2 eur. For our standards I think 2dl tea absolutely too much price even for foreigner.

Really in our huts higher prices than abroad. As for cheating, much bigger chance that they cheat you somewhere in Austria and Italy than here. OK, whoever lets themselves be cheated will be everywhere. But otherwise abroad you usually have no way to check prices. Especially not for drinks. No price lists, no bills at the end. In Austria they are not obligatory and they don't bring it (you must explicitly request), in Italy they are, but just so you see that your amount was entered in the cash register (taxes), they are not obliged to specify how much each item cost. So they can charge whatever they want (for the Austrian tax cash register it hurts but God knows how much tax they lose per year that way without receipts). And don't tell me now that Austrians don't cheat and evade! Abroad they are slick with all tricks. In Austria sometimes even if you say: "Rechnung bitte" it comes without a bill and then you have to repeat louder because apparent deafness is very widespread among the serving staff. Slovenia is good in this regard. Almost everywhere price lists, bill practically everywhere (at least in the valley). Also otherwise they cheat you less.

I wonder if the road from Poljan to Valvasorjev dom is suitable for driving a van. Thanks for the info.

From Završnica (Poljane) to Valvasor it's OK for a van.

I'm wondering if the path to Stol is snow-free from the eastern direction (Dom na Zelenici). Thanks, lp

The path is not completely snow-free yet. Under the saddle between the Stols there's a snowfield.

The two of us went last weekend across it just with the help of poles, quite a few walked on this path, but none used crampons and ice axe... and even less snow than last week
