Haven't visited from Valvasorjev dom direction for a while. Reason is huge amount of snow of course. Few meters from hut put on snowshoes. Without that wouldn't reach even Žirovniška planina. At 1300m extreme sinking to waist. Skip summer path and with branches climb to gully under chapel which was cleared. Above chapel sinking in wet snow, but up to 1900m where fairytale base. Walk to summit great. Some skiers arrived from other direction. Unbelievably warm day. For hiker, think conditions won't be for a while.

In principle I don't stoop to the "NERGAČ commenting" level, but here I must!
On reports by BojanA, DejanG, PrimozA.... and other "bloggers" who describe the topic so well you can hike the tour in thoughts, I've done several ascents already.
A day or two I check if anyone posted about the tour I'm planning, and get needed data and lots of interesting reading.
Bojči, Redbull...... keep writing, believe 99% users happily read or "devour" your articles, esp. if a photo is excellent and goes to my "HRIBI FOTKE NORE" folder.
Nergačs I advise: avoid names that annoy you, don't open their threads, don't comment. Huge favor to them and us readers.

We planned from Valvazorja.....
first it was said there would be such low temperatures in the night to Monday ,

Without snowshoes it would be tough, with skis they usually don't go from that direction, not very smart.

Yesterday along the Žirovniška "broken through" to cca. 1400 m. Knee +. Probably recommended Dejan's route directly to Prižnica left (at least chamois have it well trodden) because up there right some dangerous slabs.

Two days ago I went to Roblek from Draga. Already at the parking lot at cca. 700 m there was snow, so you can imagine the conditions towards Valvazor.

From the parking lot carry skis 10 min, then snow. Or with 4x4 drive to the junction of path Čez Graben.
