Today the goal was Stol.
Start in Završnica, past Valvasor hut on Žirovnica path to Prešeren hut and then to the summit.
Path normally passable but in morning or forenoon hours just before and from the chapel onwards quite icy (as it's all in shade), in between rocks/sand, so if you have those mini crampons, put them on, I didn't use semi-automatics because too rocky still. Otherwise conditions on the path normal, just as always, caution is advisable.

Hi,
Yesterday on the path from Stol to Valvasor hut (Žirovnica path) lost my Dior sunglasses. Please if someone found them contact me at 030705572.
It was a bit higher than those three benches where the viewpoint is.

Already below Prižnica there is smooth frozen snow on the path. Then there is quite some scrambling and then ice again between rocks on the path where you walk.
Compacted snow starts where the trail to the hut on Stol branches off to the right and straight into the gully between the Stols. (Speaking of the path past Prižnica - Žirovnica path)

Today via Žirovniška to Stol. Path quite OK, most with small crampons, some also with proper ones. Quite a strong wind was blowing, carrying clouds of snow. Descended the gully to Prižnica. Road to Valvasor is drivable.

We too and we were those with proper crampons and ice axes... Just because of the strong wind it seemed right to use the gear.

By Saturday the creep danger will be noticeably less. Pay a bit more attention on the afternoon return under Prižnica (if there's sun all day)
