TišlerŠolar, last night I went from Krma over Kurica to Planika and from there to Triglav. Didn't use winter gear. There are snow patches you can avoid, but one cable at the end is torn.

The day before.

From Zadnjica to Dolič, mulatiera just below Dolič not yet passable without crampons and ice axe, but possible up central part from snow gully, ice axe not superfluous. From Dolič on there are still some snow patches on path bypassable, no issues over the pass.

Snow in gully below Bovška škrbina, ice axe recommended here too, especially since softened snow thing doesn't hold always and everywhere, snow will get harder and harder to cross over time. To summit dry then, down to Kredarica too, except few meters below entry part, but even there days numbered.

Return on holiday Saturday via Planika, helped female hiker who slipped on snow patch right at start, caution needed there as snow stays awhile. Some more snow patches to Dolič, but passable with care. From Dolič down to Trenta as on ascent. Could be annoying another week or two.
In the snow basin under Dolič still nicely all under snow1
from the hut onwards first some 10 m down towards Trenta, then up the snowfield2
across southern Triglav foothills still snow patches but easily passable3
occasionally shrouded in fog4
in gully below Bovška škrbina snow will last at least another week or two5

Mulatjera towards Trenta impassable without equipment in the initial part.18
Passable in the central part, some on snow patches, some on scree, of course carefully, and ice axe is not superfluous.19
Kanjavčev ledges will remain snowy for a long time yet.20

Hello! On Friday I was on Triglav via Tominšek route. Just warning about snow patch at ca. 2000 m, caution needed (ice axe uphill welcome, crampons downhill too). Otherwise possible without gear, but steep and don't recommend slip there. Otherwise from junction to Staničev dom onwards snow, all way to climbing start under M. Triglav.

This weekend wasn't exactly the best for the mountains. Especially Sunday. But there's still plenty of snow. Bovška škrbina still has quite a bit.
You reach the tower via the snowfield from Bovška škrbina1
Bovška škrbina will still take some time to become snow-free.2

Triglav revealed itself for a while today, then covered up again.8

This is that wonder. At the upper parking lot, where there used to be a barrier, they placed some rocks so no one would park there.15

This is how it looks below Dolič18
This snowfield is on the path below Dolič. The hutkeeper at Dolič used to help female hikers with a rope who didn't dare cross it.19

Nice to see you two together up there again.
Regarding B.škrbina and it being snow-free, it'll probably take still a few weeks
Good luck

Hi all, we are planning to go to Triglav on next Monday (4.July) and because I see so much snow on your pictures, I would like to ask you, if it is necessary to have the crampoons and an ice axe?
We have 4 days for the whole trip. Our route starts at Bohinjsko jezero then Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih (1st day) then we go to Dom Planika (2nd day), from where we want to climb up to Triglav. And then we want to go back to the lake through Koča pri Vojah (3rd + 4th day).
Thank you very much for any information!

A bit late....on Tuesday early morning from Krma towards Kredarica, where before Kalvarija I change my mind and go towards Konjsko sedlo to check out the path from there to Kredarica. Been up many times but never on that path. This year at the highest hut new caretakers who most hikers already know and I guess changes will show soon. After breakfast and chat head to the top. Path is snow-free (on Tue only stepped on snow 2x so know it's mostly gone). Top mostly foreigners. Descended to Planika where you still cross three snowfields, first one steeper and early morning needs caution. Also new staff there and chat with Mira(Marija), nice weather and views wouldn't let me leave this mountain paradise. To Krma via Kurica. Winter gear not needed anywhere now.nasmeh
always nice surroundings and mountains1
first time from Konjsko sedlo to Kredarica, all fixed ropes OK2

I'm wondering if the path via Tominškova and Prag is already snow-free. lp. zmedenzavijanjezocmi:

Look a few pages back where someone wrote what the conditions on Tominškova are. Over Prag though I can say it'll definitely take some more time due to some snow patches (non-problematic crossings). Ice axe is good to have. But it all depends what kind of stuff you're made ofnasmeh

good luck

Does anyone maybe have some info about the path over Plemenice?
like
redbull30. 06. 2016 18:07:19
If that slab from 6.6 is gone then the path is snow-free. With this heat I think that obstacle is no longer there.
That's over Plemenice, in Bovška škrbina there'll be snow for quite some time still. That's above Western Triglav plateau. Check 2 pages back the pic I attached.

Good luck

At least take ice axe with you, so no one flies into Pekel.
